Let’s Kick It!
Dance and you’ll feel better.
Hi! I’m Kyla, a dedicated dancer with a lifelong passion for the art of movement. My journey began at the age of 7 when I won my first national title at Encore Performing Arts. Since then, I’ve been fortunate to capture five additional national championships in hip hop, musical theater, and jazz.
Dance has opened countless doors for me, including the opportunity to receive more than 50 scholarships from prestigious conventions like 24/7, Streetz, Revel, and Tremaine. Since I was 10, I’ve had the honor of serving as a protégé teaching assistant to world-renowned faculty members on dance convention circuits—an experience that has allowed me to share my love for dance and inspire others.
I am currently a teaching assistant for Encore Performing Arts, Innovative Fusion Dance, and the Junior Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, where I get to mentor young dancers, support their training, and help them grow in confidence and technique.
I’m also proud to have spent three years as a professional dancer for the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys Rookie Squad, an experience that strengthened my performance skills and taught me the importance of teamwork, discipline, and connecting with an audience.
Training under legendary choreographers such as Guy Groove, Phil Wright, Mollee Gray, Kelly Sweeney, and Jenny Durbin Smith has shaped me into the artist I am today and continues to push me to grow.
I’m excited to continue my journey in dance, explore new opportunities, and inspire the next generation of performers. Let’s connect and celebrate the power of movement together!
It all begins with a groove.
Kyla trains at renowned Los Angeles studios like The Playground, Groove Interactive, The Crew Studios and Millennium, where creativity thrives. Each lesson lays the groundwork for a larger mission—transforming her love for dance into a business that inspires others. With her talent and determination, Kyla might soon motivate the next generation of dancers to pursue their dreams!
