“True success isn’t measured by how far you go, but by how many people you lift along the way.”

Making an Impact

One of the values that defines Kyla Ledbetter most is her commitment to giving back. While she has found success in dance, acting, pageantry, and entrepreneurship, Kyla believes true success is measured by how you use your platform to serve others. Growing up in a rural community taught her determination, gratitude, and the importance of creating opportunities where they may not naturally exist. Because high-level arts training wasn’t always close to home, Kyla and her family made sacrifices—traveling across Texas and beyond so she could pursue her dreams. Those experiences shaped her heart for service and inspired her long-term mission to make the arts more accessible to children in rural and underserved communities.

Today, she pours that experience back into others through her company, Kicking It With Kyla, where she creates choreography, coaches dancers of all ages, and helps young performers build confidence, stage presence, and belief in themselves. For Kyla, teaching is more than dance—it’s about helping others discover what they’re capable of.

Kyla’s commitment to service also extends deeply into her local community. One organization especially close to her heart is House of Blessing, a ministry that provides food, hygiene products, clothing, shoes, and other essentials to families in need throughout the year. For the past three years, Kyla has organized and led donation drives through the pageant community, bringing together contestants, families, and friends to help stock their shelves. Each year, the drives have grown bigger, and this year her younger brother will join her in hopes of making their largest impact yet. Through these efforts, Kyla has seen firsthand how a community can come together to create real change.

Serving Beyond the Spotlight

Her heart for service continues through volunteer work with organizations such as the Special Olympics in Austin and Operation Care in Dallas, where she worked with children experiencing homelessness to create moments of joy, confidence, and belonging. She also hosts annual Operation Christmas Child packing parties in her home, bringing friends and family together to prepare gift-filled shoeboxes for children around the world. Whether she is on stage, on screen, coaching dancers, or serving her community, Kyla strives to lead with kindness, purpose, and the belief that even the smallest act of service can leave a lasting impact.

“Kindness costs nothing, but its impact can change everything.”
